> 4-H Animal Projects

Projects of raising animals for youth enrolled in 4-H include, Horse, Market Steer, Market Lamb, Market Goat and Poultry
 
> 4-H Clubs

Montgomery County youth ages 9-19 may participate in 4-H Club activities through participation in in-school clubs, after school clubs, and community clubs.
 
> 4-H Lifelinks
Contact: TC Loughery
4-H Members in area High Schools can participate in this Leadership and Citizenship Club. Lifelinks members serve as peer leaders in their schools while developing their own leadership and citizenship skills.
 
> 4-H Embryology

Local teachers can utilize incubators and program materials to teach their class the science of embyology
 
> 4-H On Your Own

Junior and Senior High students can participate in this real life simulation. Participants are given a career and a family situation and try to survive for one month. Teachers should call to schedule the program for their school or classroom.
 
> 4-H Dog Club

Youth learn dog bite prevention, health care, obedience equipment and grooming. Youth may also go through the dog obedience course free of charge. Opportunities to show your animal are available.
 
> 4-H Archery Group
Contact: TC Loughery
Youth grades 4-12 can receive archery instruction through this recreation project. All leaders are certified archery instructors. This group meets twice a month and the 4-H office. No equipment is needed to participate. $5 yearly fee for insurance.
 
> 4-H Rabbit Club

Youth with rabbits get together monthly to learn important skills and knowledge about raising rabbits. Club meets 1st Tuesday each month at the 4-H office.
 
> 4-H Tech Team

Youth particpating have fun and learn new ways to use cutting edge technology. GPS or global positioning systems is a major part of this group. Club meets once a month.
 
> 4-H Horse Group

Youth interested in horses meet to share their passion and learn more about horses. Participants can participate in horse bowl, hippology, trail rides, shows, judging and much more.
 
> 4-H Line and Design group

Participants will learn to express their creativity through fashion design, clothing construction, and interior design.
 
> 4-H Food Group

BAM! Are you the next Emeril? The 4-H food group will help you learn about food preparation, healthy foods, career opportunities, and personal health.
 
> 4-H Cloverbuds
Contact: TC Loughery
4-H program for youth grades K-3. Program is hands-on where youth can participate in fun activities that gives them an introduction to the different 4-H activities. Meets 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
